Churro Caramel Rice Pudding

I can’t believe summer is almost over, how about you?  When I think of summer I think of grilling outdoors, swimming, and ice cream.  Oh yes, these are a few of my favorite summer things.  You can’t have summer without ice cream and now you can’t have coffee without it either!

I have to admit, as much as I love the flavors of ice cream I cant eat too much of it without it upsetting my stomach.  But now, thanks to International Delights Cold Stone Creamery, I still get to have these great flavors.  I love them in my coffee but I also decided to use the Cold Stone Creamery™ Churro Caramel to make my own Caramel Cinnamon Sundae Flavored Rice Pudding. Did you know that National Rice Pudding day is a summer holiday?  It falls on August 9th – so if you missed celebrating it a few days ago, I give you permission to celebrate it now with this delicious Caramel Cinnamon Sundae Rice Pudding made with Caramel Churro Creamer.  And one more thing – I made this in the crock pot so you don’t have to worry about heating up your house in the warmer weather.


Ingredients:
3/4 cup of a long grain rice
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 1/2 cups Cold Stone Creamery™ Churro Caramel
2 tablespoons of butter
a pinch of salt

Directions:
Place all the ingredients in the slow cooker (I recommend spraying it with cooking spray first) and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2.
