I have been recently working on creating a Project Life Disney scrapbook. I love the simplicity of pocket-style scrapbooking. As a busy mom of 4, I love that I can create pages quickly and easily with as little or as much embellishment as I like.
For my title page, I used a Project Life style A page protector. The title strip is split up over the top two 4″x6″ slots. I used my Paper shaper letter punches for the “Spring Break” title.
The sun and palm tree die cuts are from my stash of Creative Memories supplies from when I first started scrapbooking. For the sand border, I free cut a piece of tan paper. Some seashell stickers completed the scene for my Project Life Disney title page. I love it when I can use older die cuts and stickers on a page!
The two state cards were from a digital set I purchased from the Little Peace of My Heart Etsy shop. The set has all 50 states and bonus geotags. I bought the grey set and it was quite easy to use Paint.net to change the colors to fit my page. After I printed them, I used a mini Mickey ears punch to add our starting and end points.
The two bottom filler cards were also from a digital set I purchased from the Designs by Kyle Jordan Etsy shop. I simply edited the cards to include the dates of our trip and our destinations.
This Project Life Disney scrapbook is my first venture into pocket style scrapbooking and so far I love it! I haven’t scrapbooked for the past couple of years because I haven’t had the time and I was perpetually behind. Project Life is changing all that for me though. Our precious family memories are being preserved and I am getting pages completed so quickly. Project Life has been a lifesaver for this busy mom!
